Der Rosenkavalier – Guide to Research

In the course of preparing my own English translation of Der Rosenkavalier, I found myself compiling a bibliography of titles that interested me, or taught me something, or somehow informed my knowledge of the opera. This is that bibliography.

It’s a personal list. It doesn’t aim at completeness, and certain areas have been neglected, e.g. performance history and subsequent developments such as the Rosenkavalier film.

The site is under construction, though I don’t expect to make huge additions to the bibliography itself. But one never knows. . . .
